A Belfast Boy by Michael Phillips

Synopsis 'A Belfast Boy':

I grew up during the Troubles in the North of Ireland, where the IRA campaigned against the British presence and London's controversial methods of restoring order.

I had to pass through military checkpoints every day on my way to school. There were arrests, hunger strikes, friends and neighbours caught up in the violence.

Just when I thought I'd left it all behind, a terrorism charge landed me in a maximum security prison.

This is my story.

Available in paper and digital format.

Synopsis 'Lily White':

Young Finn's journey begins in the rainy streets of Belfast, between revolution and ancestral memory.

It's not just a historical novel: it's a journey into the heart of a torn country and into the conscience of a boy forced to choose between idealism and survival.

In the labyrinths of the IRA, between propaganda and invisible shadows, Finn discovers that the fight is never just political — it's personal.

Some characters and narrative universes are currently being developed into films.
